Washington Recovery Alliance — Communications Director
As Communications Director for the Washington Recovery Alliance, I lead the full creative and communications operation for one of Washington's leading recovery advocacy organizations. I own the strategy, execute the design, and manage the brand across every channel — from digital campaigns to printed event materials to statewide advocacy days. —————————————————————— RECOVERY DAY AT THE MARINERS Signature campaign. Statewide scale. —————————————————————— My most visible project: a multi-channel event campaign for an annual community celebration that brings nearly 3,000 people from across Washington to T-Mobile Park. Now in its 5th year, Recovery Day at the Mariners is one of the largest recovery-focused public events in the Pacific Northwest — and I build the entire communications ecosystem around it. What I built: — Social media campaign assets across multiple platforms — Newsletters and email promotions to thousands of subscribers — Event programs for the full day-of experience — Sponsorship packets for corporate and community partners — Banners, signage, and branded event materials — Swag design and branded giveaways — End-to-end promotion from announcement through recap —————————————————————— RECOVERY ADVOCACY DAY (RAD) Statewide advocacy. 49 legislative districts. —————————————————————— A coordinated statewide advocacy event that mobilizes the recovery community to meet with Washington State legislators across all 49 legislative districts. I designed and executed the full communications campaign — from initial promotion through day-of coordination materials. This is communications director-level ownership. Scale: My communications work touches thousands of people across Washington State through digital, print, and live event channels.
